Girls Power Cafe
Tomorrow Girls Troop (TGT) presented an educational community space - Girl Power Café - in the exhibition Socially Engaged Art (18/2/2017 - 5/3/2017). This space was designed to give visitors an opportunity to learn about feminism.
The space was filled with books on feminism and gender studies, chairs, a blackboard and placards which TGT made since 2015 - each reflecting Japan’s social issues.
With the theme of #Redefinition of Girl Power Pink! (#女子力ピンク再定義 !), our TGT members learned feminism with our visitors while providing a place where visitors can spontaneously think and talk about feminism.
